Activities in Winter

Wonderful winter landscape. White mountain panorama. Priceless but inclusive.

Above the clouds, bright blue sky, imposing glaciers, white mountain peaks as far as the eye can see and a freshly groomed slope in front of you. The first track. An overwhelming nature and sports experience! Skiing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking or tobogganing: the Stubai Valley offers you numerous winter opportunities to discover nature.

Skiing - whether beginner or professional

The four skiing areas promise you fun on the slopes and unforgettable skiing moments. Unlimited skiing fun on the Stubai Glacier, a family atmosphere in the Schlick 2000, the beginner-friendly skiing area of the Serlesbahnen or the challenging slopes of the Elferbahnen ensure a varied holiday. In the Stubai Valley, everyone will find the right slopes for them.

Cross-country skiing - recreation for everyone

Friends of cross-country skiing, whether skaters or classic cross-country skiers have it good in the Stubai Valley. Breathtaking scenery and 40 km of perfectly groomed trails at all altitudes, including even the illuminated night trail Stubai for cross-country skiing in the evening, fascinate all along the line and offer you the opportunity to consciously discover the varied winter landscape. The entrance to the Stubai Valley trail is only a few metres away from us.

Winter hiking - feel the snow step by step

The crunching under your feet, the snow-covered trees in view, the wonderful winter air in your nose and feeling the snow step by step... there is hardly a more idyllic way to experience the Stubai Valley than on a winter hike. On the 80 kilometres of cleared and well-marked trails, you can let your thoughts run free and discover the wintery, enchanting Stubai Valley for yourself on a winter hike.

Tobogganing - unrestrained tobogganing fun for young and old alike

After a hike through snow-covered forests or a cable car ride up the mountain, winter sports enthusiasts look forward to a speedy descent on the toboggan runs in the Stubai Valley. Tobogganers experience the fascination of the snow-covered mountain world on ten toboggan runs that have been awarded the Tyrolean Nature Toboggan Run Seal of Quality. One of the longest runs in Tyrol is also located in the Stubai Valley. The toboggan run from the Elfer leads over six kilometres directly to the village centre of Neustift and thrills young and old. In Tyrol's largest toboggan arena, four runs are also illuminated, which makes tobogganing at night extremely promising.

What our guests say

Very nice apartment we have been going to for 8 years. The Stern family is always attentive and helpful. They also provide a wide range of information on events and activities in the Stubai Valley, so that it never gets boring even in bad weather. The quiet location is unbeatable, right on the cross-country ski run and close to the bus stop to the surrounding ski areas. The apartment is always in perfect condition and super clean. In short: you feel at home & we like to come back
